Day 6

I reached office at 9am as usual. Before I can check my mails, the Manager ask me to check the equipment are all there before setting off the do the installation. Everything has to be right as the Police Commissioner of India will be there. After the check, I continued with my daily routine: Check mails.

Went to the Police station at 10.45 & set to prepare for the war. Everything seems fine until Murphy decided to pay me a visit: The internet connection is lost. Everything is fine during the last 2 tests. But today after the team had finish installing the speakers, the connection went down. I believe they must had touched the modem & some of the connector is loose or what. Anyway, there is nothing I could do. The IT guys trying all his means but failed.

Before they decided to change the location of the test, the connection came back. Ok, it is due to unstable network. Instantly, the tension is released. 1 of the Inspector went ahead to do the test. He is a Doctorate! Even his name tag had a “Dr.“ in front of his name! It is usual for a Police to have such a high qualification as Police often regards as people who are not that smart. Cos all they need is build, no need brain. After him, the head of Traffic Police went on to the test. Everything went on smoothly.

The Police Commissioner of India finally came out from his meeting. When he came into the room with all his kakias following behind. His rank is 2 rifles with 1 star. Sat down to do the test & he is satisfied with the system. He even went to the actual site to experience the volume personally. He starts to discuss to have a similar set-up in other parts of India already. Wow~ Exciting year ahead!

After returning back office, the Manager organized his team to attend my training. Although I plan to have a quick 1, however, they have a lot of questions to ask. Training personnel with technical background is so much different. It is impossible to smoke them. Afterall, all of them had been in the industry for atleast 10years! Don’t know have to admit don’t know.

Only had 2hours after training to do my shopping. As India is famous for its woodcrafts & silks, I went to this woodcraft shop to get my souvenirs. They also brought me to some mart to get some tea for my office.

I had my last meal in India, Singapore Fried Rice. It does not taste a little like Singapore. Anyway, I was too full to finish everything.

Went to the airport immediately after my meal. Deardear, I’m back! She is supposed to fetch me, but we had a little disagreement & she told me she will not be coming. Haiz..

Switched on my hand phone immediately after I touched down. I’m expecting to receive deardear’s SMS, hoping that she will change her mind. “You got a message” my phone goes off. I opened the Inbox & smiled. Deardear told me she is coming!!! This acting silly gf of mine always likes to make me angry & disappointed before surprising me. But I like it. Haha.. Thanks dear!!!
